It is important to get enough sleep as sleep helps us to keep our minds and bodies healthy.
There are many benefits of getting a good night's sleep including:
a more attentive mind
regulating blood sugar
greater mood stability
Several strategies have been shown to contribute to getting a good night's sleep such as:
creating a consistent sleep schedule
making a quality sleep environment
avoiding the use of caffeine/nicotine/alcohol before bed
avoiding screen time at least 30 minutes before bed
exercising during the day
